SLS Plan of Service

The School Library System operates under a New York State approved Plan of Service developed collaboratively with the SLS Council. The current Plan of Service was approved in 2011 and continues through the 2015-2016 school year. The plan contains goals for each school year presented within 10 elements: resource sharing, special client population groups, professional development and continuing education, consulting and development services, coordinated services, awareness and advocacy, communication among members, cooperative efforts with other library systems, and technology services.
